Huge payday for Jockey Challenge punter

July 20, 2015

jockey-oliverThe racing adage “good jockeys win races” paid off for one smart punter, who collected $51,000 last Saturday.

The punter placed a $50 four-leg Jockey Challenge multi with online bookmaker

He coupled Adelaide hoop Matthew Neilson $5.00, into Brisbane’s Tim Bell $4.80, Sydney premiership leader James McDonald $3.50 and Melbourne gun Damien Oliver $5.00.

Premiership battles are nearing an end and James McDonald has firmed from $2.60 into $2.20 to defend his Sydney title.

Oliver is $2.10 to win the Melbourne title over Craig Williams $2.25.

“It’s tough finding a winner at the best of times, but full credit to this guy, who’s a contender for punter of the week,” said’s Christian Jantzen.

“Four winners, four states – he deserves a medal as well as the huge collect.”
