Flow of punter’s money suggests Swans and Bulldogs 2016 AFL Grand Final

swans kennedyThe Swans meet the Cats on Friday night and the Bulldogs clash with the Giants on Saturday evening for the right to play-off in the 2016 AFL Grand Final the following week.

Punters at online bookmaker Sportsbet say the Western Bulldogs look like spoiling the all-Sydney AFL Grand Final according to the flow of money for the Victorian side.

Nearly twice as much has been bet on the Sydney Swans $2.30 to upset Geelong $1.60 in tomorrow night’s Preliminary Final at the MCG.

However, the Bulldogs $2.70 have had 20% more wagered on them to defeat GWS Giants $1.48 despite the fact the bigger bets have been for the Giants.

Despite the punter interest in the two outsiders, GWS Giants and Geelong remain equal $3.00 flag favourites.

AFL Preliminary Final Big Bets

$10,000 on GWS @ $1.47
$5,000 on GWS @ $1.47
$4,000 on Sydney @ $2.47
$2,000 on Bulldogs @ $2.30

“So much for the week off being a benefit, punters are preferring the Swans and the Doggies and they’re getting some great value in the process,” said Sportsbet’s Christian Jantzen.
