2010 Caulfield Cup nominations and weights

Caulfield Cup weights were released this week for the second biggest Cup race of the 2010 Melbourne spring racing carnival and just like the 2010 Melbourne Cup it’s Robert Hickmott gallopers Alandi and Efficient who share topweight of 58 kilograms.
Great Britian stayers Cavalryman and Mastery in the hands of Saeed Bin Suroor have been given 57.5 kilograms while reigning Melbourne Cup winner Shocking from the Mark Kavanagh stable received 57 kilograms for the 2010 Caulfield Cup.
Chris Waller’s Metal Bender has 56kgs along with last year’s WS Cox Plate winner So You Think who is in the hands of master trainer Bart Cummings.
Predatory Pricer from the Mick Price stable and Shoot Out under the guidance of John Wallace both received 55 kilograms for the race.
Down in the weights are Bart Cumming’s mares Faint Perfume 52 kgs and Dariana 51.5kgs while Largo Lad who is being set for the race by trainer David Hayes will carry just 51 kilograms if he can get a run.
Rick Hore-Lacy’s Golden Rose winner and Caulfield Guineas major fancy Toorak Toff has the light weight of just 49 kilograms if Hore-Lacy elects to run in the 2400 metre event.
