Mark Williams firms at Sportsbet to coach Essendon in 2011

Former Port Adelaide coach Mark Williams has firmed into $1.75 to become coach of Essendon in 2011 at Australia’s number one betting agency Sportsbet.
After the swift sacking of Matthew Knights on the weekend Mark Williams is the logical choice to coach the Bombers as he is a premiership coach at Port with a proven record of success.
Williams is a popular figure amongst the football fraternity and would certainly be favourably received by disgrunteld Bomber fans unhappy with how Knights coached the team.
Alan Richardson $2.00 is also very well fancied and considered the main danger to Williams for the Essendon coaching job.
Former Essendon captain and legend of the game James Hird $10.00 seems to have cold feet for the coaching role after upsetting the apple cart a couple of weeks ago while form Kangaroos coach Dean Laidley $14.00 is also in the mix.
