Round 4 of the 2010/2011 A-League season has a top clash in store on Friday night in Brisbane when the in-form Brisbane Roar host Wellington Phoenix at Suncorp Stadium in what should be a very entertaining clash to start the round.
The A-League ladder after 3 rounds has Perth Glory on top with 7 points from North Queensland Fury and Adelaide United on 5 points while down the bottom on just one point is Sydney FC and new franchise Melbourne Heart.
The Brisbane Roar $2.25 go into this match favourite at Suncorp on the back of a good home win over last year’s premier Sydney while the Wellington Phoenix $3.00 are fairly good odds considering their early season form. from two starts to date.
This game has the potential for goals and the Phoenix appear value on the line.
North Queensland Fury $2.28 tackle Adelaide United $2.80 early Saturday evening at Dairy Farmers Stadium up north and the home side’s form suggests it can get the points over an improving Adelaide outfit.
Winless Sydney FC $1.91 are under the odds for ours in the clash against fellow NSW rivals Central Coast Mariners $3.80 and neither side is setting the world on fire this season with a draw very much on the cards at Sydney Football Stadium on Saturday night.
Sunday afternoon at Skilled Stadium Gold Coast United $2.38 will host Melbourne Victory $2.80 and the away team showed a return to goal scoring form last round and appeal as value at their current odds.
Later in the day Melbourne Heart $2.70 host top of the table Perth Glory $2.50 at AAMI Park in Melbourne and we fancy the Glory to get the points and think they are very much overs at that price.
