The Cox Plate Lunch is now into its’ third year and has quickly established itself as the must attend event of the Melbourne Spring Carnival.
The lunch celebrates what Princess Park believes to be Australia’s greatest race – the WS Cox Plate.
The lunch is held each year on Friday the day before the WS Cox Plate and since its inception has offered the final word before the big race.

Sport 927’s Shane Anderson will host an all star line up this year including international racing superstar Francesca Cumani who has accepted an invitation to this years lunch.
Joining the lunch for the first time this year is Simon Marshall along with the Master Yoda of form Steve Moran who will be returning again to offer his punting views. His assessment of the big race will surely help punters find the winner.
And of course it wouldn’t be a Cox Plate Lunch without that lovable larrikin ‘Miracle’ Mal Johnson.
A winner himself as a jockey when he won on the mighty Kingston Town, the man who made up his own nickname, is sure to be peaking again for this years’ Cox Plate Lunch!

Went to this last year – absolute cracking event. Best lunch I have been to.
This lunch is not your normal businessmen’s lunch. A casual affair with plenty of lager flowing and plenty of laughs. A great panel again this year is sure to give good insight into race. Have booked a table for me and my good clients for the 2010 lunch!
