2010 Memsie Stakes day at Caulfield – Saturday 28th August

Caulfield racecourse is sure to attract a big crowd on Saturday 28th August when the $200,000 Group 2 Memsie Stakes is held over 1400 metres at Caulfield racecourse.

Admission to Caulfield racecourse is Adults $10, Concession $5 and children Under 14 get in free as long as they are with an adult. From 11am to 2pm there will be Wacky Roving Entertainment which will provide plenty of fun on the day.

Free Parking is available to the public in the centre of the track which can be accessed via the vehicle tunnel from the Kambrook and Glen Eira Road roundabout and gates open at 10:30am.

A top day of racing will also be held in Sydney this weekend with 2010 Golden Rose Day at Rosehill racecourse.

2010 Memsie Stakes nominations

Among the nominations for the 2010 Memsie Stakes are Bart Cumming’s talented mares Dariana and Faint Perfume who are both high up in betting for both the 2010 Melbourne Cup and 2010 Caulfield Cup and they will create plenty of interest if they go around on Saturday.

Other entries include Missile Stakes winner Love Conquers All, WS Cox Plate winner So You Think and Mark Kavanagh’s quality galloper Whobegotyou.

Horse of the moment Shoot Out is likely to go around again and his clash with Peter Moody’s brilliant mare Typhoon Tracy should be a beauty if it eventuates.
