The Knights won the earlier encounter this season in Brisbane and they also won the most recent clash at this venue last season. The Broncos won the three previous meetings including one at this Stadium in 2008.
Our Tip: Newcastle Knights
Newcastle playing at home with Jarrod Mullen returning to the side appear the ones to beat here against a Broncos side still missing Darren Lockyer. Newcastle has won the past two meetings against the Brisbane side and this match appears a fairly even contest which makes the home side the value at the current odds on offer.
Friday August 20, CUA Stadium, 7.35pm
Last Week
The Panthers (12-9) were mauled by the Tigers to the tune of 25 points at Campbelltown Sports Stadium and the Rabbitohs (10-11) lost a close tussle by 2 points to the Storm at AAMI Park in Melbourne.

Rabbitohs
Both sides have alternated wins in their last four matches with the Panthers winning twice at CUA Stadium and the Rabbitohs twice at ANZ Stadium. If the trend continues then the Panthers will be victorious given this game is at CUA Stadium. It’s worth noting the past five clashes have all been high scoring affairs with game totals of 48+ points each time.
Our Tip: Penrith Panthers
Penrith have slumped to five losses in their past six matches and while we fancy them to win this clash because they are playing at home, they are certainly well under the odds on their recent form. The Rabbitohs smacked the Panthers by 20 points earlier in the season and could be a good option if you pick your own line at Centrebet and take a points head start.

The Sea Eagles have won the past five games played against the Warriors which include a win earlier this season at Mt Smart in New Zealand. Manly has averaged almost 30 points a game over the NZ side whilst keeping them to 6 points on three occasions in their past five clashes.
Our Tip: New Zealand Warriors
This should be a top clash and while Manly would be expected to win on their recent history against the New Zealanders we feel they are under the odds considering they played Monday night and had a bruising encounter with the Dragons. The Warriors are in good form and represent value for ours, especially if you pick your own line at Centrebet and take a points head start.

The Storm have won their last three games against the Sharks including a win earlier in the year at Toyota Stadium by 4 points. The Sharks have been unable to keep the Storm to under 14 points in recent games and have struggled to score double figures in their past three encounters against the Melbourne side.
Our Tip: Melbourne Storm
One would expect the Storm to come out to play in front of a home crowd this week and that should be enough to get them over the line against an improved Sharks outfit of late.

The Cowboys (5-16) were found wanting in their 37-18 loss to the Titans at Skilled Park while at ANZ Stadium the Bulldogs (7-14) were trounced 28-14 at home at the hands of the Raiders.

The Bulldogs have won both games played against the Cowboys last season while prior to that the Queensland side scored three wins in a row. The last five meetings have all been high scoring games with 34+ points scored on each occasion.
Our Tip: Canterbury Bulldogs
It’s been a very ordinary season for the Cowboys and this is a game where the Bulldogs can get the points and make it three on the trot against their opponents.
Sunday August 22, Canberra Stadium, 2.00pm

The Raiders (10-11) travelled to Toyota Stadium to score a solid 14 point win over the Bulldogs while the Dragons (15-6) confirmed their top of the table status with a 22 point win over the Sea Eagles at WIN.

Dragons
The Raiders have owned the Dragons in their past four clashes and St George has been unable to score more than 14 points while Canberra has averaged 20+ which make this a danger game for the Dragons.
Our Tip: Canberra Raiders
The Raiders are coming off a good win last week and they find themselves against a Dragons outfit they have managed to dismantle in recent times which says the short odds about the Dragons are no value, which means the Raiders are, especially if you pick your own line at Centrebet and take a points head start.
Sunday August 22, Parramatta Stadium, 3.00pm

Theses teams have alternated wins over the last four meetings and the Tigers won the most recent clash earlier this season at Sydney Football Stadium plus they also won the most recent encounter at this venue, ironically with the same game score of 23 points.
Our Tip: Parramatta Eels
The Eels returned to something like their best last week against the Broncos and with Timana Tahu back for this match we fancy they can continue on with the good form and take the points here.
Monday August 23, Sydney Football Stadium, 7.05pm

Our Tip: Gold Coast Titans
The Titans are are in great form and they appear the best value of the round for ours at their current odds and we expect them to notch their 14th win of the season on Monday night.
