2010 San Domenico Stakes – 2010 Missile Stakes preview at Randwick

The Group 3 San Domenico Stakes and Group 3 Missile Stakes highlight a fantastic eight race program at Randwick racecourse in Sydney on Saturday 7th August, 2010.

The first race commences at 12.25pm with the last race set to finish at 4.50pm.

Gates open to the public at 11am and admission price to the Randwick track on Saturday is $15 while pensioners pay only $5.00.

The 2010 Missile Stakes has attracted some quality gallopers including the Hawke’s trained Love Conquers All $1.75 who is a dominating favourite on the back of his June Stakes win at Randwick last time out when he convincingly beat the very talented Hay List.

Jim Cassidy will ride the striking 4yo galloper and the favourite will jump from barrier two.

George Ryder Stakes winner Danleigh $3.50 resumes here and will provide plenty of opposition to the hot pot Love Conquers All and will jump from gate two with Hugh Bowman down to ride.

Sniper’s Bullet $8.00 is a multiple Group 1 winner who also resumes from a spell and Blake Shinn will be aboard to give the 7yo gelding every chance in the run.

The 2010 San Domenico Stakes has assembled a top field of three-year-olds who are all resuming from a spell which makes it a bit tricky for punters.

Solar Charged $2.40 from the John O’Shea camp has opened a clear favourite and will be having his first runs since a 2.5L fifth in the Group 1 Golden Slipper in the autumn.

Clarrie Connors gelding Decision Time $4.20 is next in betting from Gai Waterhouse runner Brightexpectations $4.40 while Obsequious $5.00 from the Peter Snowden stable is also well in the betting market.
