2010 Wimbledon Final preview – Tomas Berdych vs Rafael Nadal

The 2010 Wimbledon Final will be Federer free for the first time since 2002 when 12th seed Tomas Berdych from the Czech Republic meets number 2 seed Rafael Nadal from Spain in the mens’s final on Sunday 4th July in London.

Set to begin on Sunday night at 11:00pm AEST this will be Berdych’s first Wimbledon Final and Nadal’s fourth, with the Spaniard runner-up to Roger Federer in 2006 and 2007 before turning the tables on the Swiss champion to win the 2008 titlae in an enthralling 5 set match.

In the quarter finals Tomas Berdych defeated Nojak Djokovic 6-3 7-6 6-3 to advance to the final while Rafael Nadal was too strong for Andy Murray winning 6-4 7-6 6-4 in three sets.

Most tennis pundits are expecting Nadal to get over the line in this match and bookies are thinking much the same way with the Spaniard opening up at around $1.30 compared to Berdych at $3.50.
