Inter Dominion Heat 1 preview

Karloo Mick and Changeover look the 2 best chances in this heat. Karloo Mick should be over his recent niggles now being at home on the beach. Changeover was a last start winner in NZ before making the trip over for this. I Am Sam has drawn nicely with the pole and should be able to find the lead and run a cheeky race. Mr Feelgood cant be left out of the equation either, along with Be Good Johnny who couldn’t have drawn any worse (inside back row) but has the ability.

Inter Dominion Heat 2 preview

Blacks A Fake and Smoken Up are both highly favoured in this race. Blacks A Fake should be able to roll to the front from gate 4 and then it will be all over. Smoken Up‘s horror run of bad draws in Inter Dominions continues here (inside back row) and Lance will need to get away from the inside early or else he maybe be find himself buried away 3 or 4 back on the pegs, and with Harold Park not having a sprint lane it make the task all the harder. Lance will need his full bag of tricks for this one. Best of the rest is Sammy Maguire, Pembrook Benny and Magic Operative who all look the best chances to fight out the minor prize.

Placings: 1. Blacks A Fake 2. Our Awesome Armbro 3. Smoken Up

Inter Dominion Heat 3 preview

Monkey King looks best of this field on latest Australian form, after winning the Miracle Mile and an Unlucky 4th in the Victorian Cup, and should be far too good for these. Cincinati Kid has been low flying of late winning the Ballarat Pacing Cup and then a Free For All the following weekend on Hunter Cup night. Next best chances go the way of Lonestar Legend who came to Australia from America with huge wraps and Tanabi Bromac who has been racing in consistent form back in Victoria.

Placings: 1. Monkey King 2. Hava Bonvoyage 3. Tanabi Bromac

Early Markets: Monkey King 1.22, Cincinnati Kid 6.00, Tanabi Bromac 13.00, Cant Bluff Me 17.00, Lonestar Legend 26.00, Few Good Men 34.00, Boris Badenov 34.00, Hava Bonvoyage 51.00, Our Malabar 51.00, Our Brahman Boy 101.00, Mystical Warrior 201.00, So Deep 201.00, Fifty Gorillas 201.00

Inter Dominion Heat 4 preview

This heat should be a race between Bondy, Baileys Dream and Washakie. Bondy should be able to fly the mobile and find the lead here with ease and after his front running performance in The Hunter Cup should be first past the post. In saying that Baileys Dream and Washakie are both not without a chance. All reports from NZ are that Baileys Dream is burning the track up and recently held off Monkey King in a recent exhibition trial, coming home in 57.8 last quarter in 27.6. Keep Safe. Washakie has been racing in great form winning the Perth Pacing Cup and then having no luck in the Hunter Cup and he can be a big player in this series.

Placings: 1. Bondy 2. Washakie 3. Baileys Dream

Early Markets: Bondy 1.65, Washakie 4.20, Baileys Dream 5.00, Karlsruhe 15.00, Western Cam 17.00, Pacific Charm 21.00, Notaswethort 34.00, Prince Benji 71.00, Virage 101.00, Fox Valley Appeal 101.00,

  1. Jacka says:

Great preview fellas! Karloo Mick for me in the first heat. Blacks A Fake is a good thing. Cincinnati Kid could be one at odds in third heat and Bondy in last. Keep up the great work!

  2. Adam says:

Nice write up guys, doing well. Gotta say i like Bondy too. Saw him fly home the other week in Ballarat which really caught my eye. May lay down a bet if the price is right.

  3. Beejay says:

Until the wheat is sorted from the chaff, the early favourites are going to dominate the early heats as mentioned in the previews .

Would love to see another Blacks A Fake title and on the first night will be taking him in an all up double with Bondy in the other heat. Both should be able to lead all the way at around $2.40 for the all up double.

  4. ARG says:

Would have to agree with u beejay, the only way to get some alright odds is to take a few of these short price favourites in doubles, but in saying that u never know what is going to happen on the small tight track of Harold Park which also has no sprint lane!! Get on the likely leaders for me!!

  5. apeman says:

Where did you get the $2.40 for the multi for Blacks a Fake and Bondy Beejay?

  6. Beejay says:

At Sportsbet Apeman. At time of writing, Black’s A Fake 1.45 into Bondy 1.65 gets you multibet odds @ 2.39.

  7. Nigel says:

Great write up about the heats Karloo Mick for me in the first heat he has had 3-4 runs back from a spell so is due.Roughie Baltic Ice. Blacks A Fake looks good in 2nd race with the smoky Sammy Maguire. 3rd Heat at short odds Monky King will be 2 good with the roughie being Tanabi Bromac. In the last race Bondy the horse i picked to win the hunter cup so why get off now.Roughie Notaswethort. Good Punting

  8. apeman says:

great tip on blacks a fake into bondy Beejay – got on it and paid off. cheers

  9. Beejay says:

Thanks Ape. Think most people would have been on the favourites tonight and they all paid pretty well considering. I ended up taking SuperOdds at Centrebet and double paid $2.80 which was very rewarding, considering Black’s A Fake and Bondy both looked good things. That’s the advantage of betting online with bookies, can always get better odds than the TAB. On to the second heats now.
